Troubleshooting

Use this guide when the planner does not behave as expected.

The help page does not appear at /help

Confirm the deployment server is applying the rewrite rules in .htaccess. The fallback direct PHP page is help.php, but the intended deployed route is /help or /dev/help depending on the base path.

My map image is missing from a shared link

This is expected. Share links preserve configuration data but not uploaded images. Upload the same map screenshot after opening the shared link.

Auto-Deploy asks me to mark a surface first

Auto-Deploy needs at least one marked collision surface or one greenspace set to Deter from this space. Draw a building and mark an edge, or select a greenspace and enable the deter option.

I cannot edit a deterrent's custom power

Select the deterrent, change Speaker Type to Custom, then edit power and sensitivity.

My indicator is over the maximum limit

Move or lower nearby deterrents, change unit type, reduce volume, add building attenuation if appropriate, or revise the deployment plan.

The heatmap hides map details

Open Map Setup and lower Heatmap Opacity. You can also lower Map Opacity if the map is too visually dominant.

The scale seems wrong

Re-run Calibrate Scale using a longer known distance. Confirm the correct units were selected when applying the scale.

I accidentally cropped too much

Use Undo Crop in the crop options. If that is not enough, clear and re-upload the map image.

I cannot select an object

Use the Objects panel and click the object's Select button. This helps when markers overlap or when a shape is difficult to click directly.

Keyboard deletion is not working

Make sure an object is selected and your cursor is not inside an input field. Then press Delete or Backspace.
